Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Biodynamics Craniosacral Therapy is a light touch manual therapy that focuses on slowing the body down and allowing the mind to be still. It is dedicated time to “hear” what the body is saying. When you are attentive to what the physical body is experiencing and how that information relates to you as a whole person, you can start to find ease and health. The body is always in the process of healing. That requires slowing down, rest and attentive presence. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy works with the fluid body. 75% of our body is made up of water, just like the Earth. As a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, I work with this water matrix and observe the tides and currents that shaped your body at its start and continue to shape the body as you move through life. The nervous system responds moment by moment to changes in the environment. It responds to experiences that cause pain, injury, illness and poor health. When the body experiences pain it may isolate the offending body part. The gentle focused attention of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy allows the nervous system to relax and the fluid body to reorganize around the midline (brain, spinal column and sacrum). Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy takes a whole person approach to health and healing. The mind, body and spirit are cared for as well as how the body holds and reflects past experiences. This creates the conditions for optimal wellness. In a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy session, you remain fully clothed. At the beginning of the session, we will spend a bit of time checking in and setting an intention for the session. When you feel ready, I start with very gentle holds at different points on the body. All you need to do is get comfortable and let the process happen! What results can you expect:
