Energy Alignment Sessions in Caer Kalos Caer Kalos is an expression of where one might dwell. A Caer could be a town, a well, a fortress, a castle or the name of a mythological being who alternates between living half the year as a woman and the other half as a swan. Kalos is a Greek adjective for good or “The Good” if we think of it as a description of the ideal form of Good. The aim of this expression is to explore and create space and dimension in care if the good, in a realm of all possibility. We create a neutral space where one may dwell and inquire within without judgement in order to cultivate a greater understanding of oneself and the world around them. We invoke the Delphic Oracle with the exhortation to “Know thyself” for in doing so we may become more awake and empowered to live full, authentic, personally sovereign lives. We let the discoveries lead the inquiry in this quest to “Know Thyself.” The inquiry has an eye for personal sovereignty. The exact Process of Energy Alignment is unique to each participant and session. We begin with the basic premise that as human beings we are energetic beings~ that is we are energy cohering into a material form that exists within a material world. Essentially we are light and vibration. And because we are diverse beings living in a variety of energetic fields, it can be beneficial to identify and choose consciously the supportive fields in which we wish to dwell, in order to live in alignment with our own highest ideal. It doesn’t mean we are striving for perfection or somehow to ascend out of our bodies~ rather the aim is to bring awareness to the light of our being and find ways to sustain it in one’s desired frequency within the physical body. In each session we begin by creating a safe container for inquiry. Through a brief check-in, intention setting, Pranayama (breathing practices) and guided meditation we aim to settle the mind and lead to the creating and holding of neutral meditative space. |
Basically, this is a meeting in Caer Kalos. Within this space, what is present in mind and current concern may arise and be held, welcomed and considered without judgement. Caer serves to hold this space and offer reflection for one to inquire within and be present to what arises, offering views to the many facets of hidden biases, unexamined assumptions and the realities formed by one’s current framing of perception. We frame and re-frame with the aim to broaden perspectives to discover one’s own unique energy signature and cultivate practices to live consciously in alignment with one’s own chosen and authentic guiding principles that support growth, happiness and expansion.
In any session there is an element of discovery. Given the basic premise that to a large degree we are driven by unconscious patterns and unexamined assumptions we seek to discover and identify our current operating principles. The “discovery” is to recognize where there are limiting, scarcity, and fear-based beliefs, in order to be present with them and to recognize how they bias perspectives and create repeating patterns of circumstance and behavior. Becoming aware of both personal and collective limiting beliefs is central to creating a plan for any transition. Along with Discovery we engage in Intellectual, Spiritual, and Embodied Practices. Intellectual~ we engage within philosophical frameworks to delve into thought processes and belief formation~ Selected readings can serve as springboards for discussion and further exploration. Topics may be varied and by request to open a framework of eastern and western metaphysical constructs. Spiritual ~ to consider the possibility of relationship with ways of being engaged with broader consciousness Embodied~ participate in energy practices such as breath, yoga, qi gong, energy movement and reading of one’s magnetic field ~ recognize and cultivate one’s unique energy signature Practice~ create a plan of meditative or mindful practices as daily reminders to create space and operate from a place of energetic alignment |
