Diana Domingo is an experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT) with the Yoga Alliance, as well as an experienced educator, who has worked directly in the fields of yoga instruction, voice, sound healing, bioacoustics, psychology and mindfulness for over a decade.
Diana earned her Masters Degree in Depth Psychology in 2008 from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara and has extensive training and experience facilitating groups and workshops on yoga and movement, sound and vibrational awareness, spirituality, chanting, voice and creativity in private, group professional and clinical environments. From her work in both alzheimers and psychiatric facilities for over five years, she discovered the profound impact that yoga, art and music had on individuals who learned to move and express in new ways. Through this experience, she created a studio and developed programs to help individuals discover their inner power, harness their creativity, realize their potential, connect with their bodies and express their voice in the world. Her background in business and work with yoga studios brings a unique perspective to yoga training with regards to class management, marketing and professional development. She has helped to write teacher policies, mentored teachers to pursue advanced education and credentialing, workshops proposals, project plans and develop programming, such as an ongoing beginner’s series, a full moon movement, mantra and music series and a sound health program. Diana has instructed private and group yoga, breath, meditation and movement classes both virtually and in-person throughout the Capital Region and has been part of community yoga events, such as meditation in public places as part of the Schenectady Peace Project, the Schenectady public library and an outdoor summer series sponsored by MVP healthcare. She has taught weekly classes, lead intensive workshops on the Chakras, voice and sound yoga fused with asana and breath, as well as led a several week series on yoga and self-care. On and off the mat, Diana is a singer, songwriter, and artist who spreads awareness about the importance and healing power of voice, yoga and sound healing. Her hobbies include travel, performance and art, along with community singing, kirtan and chanting. |
Mary Clare O’Connor has been practicing yoga on and off the mat for over twenty years. Her study began in life, religions, spirituality, philosophy and the workings of the mind and then shifted into the body through sound, asana and dance. She seeks to integrate an appreciation for the wisdom found in the body into consciousness in everyday living. She earned a 200 hr. Kripalu Yoga Teachers Certification in July 2011 as well as a Kripalu Yoga Dance Certification in 2009. Along with graduate study in Literature and Philosophy at SUNY Albany, she also studied philosophy, cosmology, and consciousness at The California Institute of Integral Studies.

Sarah James has been a fitness enthusiast since childhood. She was introduced to yoga in 2008 as a way to reduce injuries from competitive sports. She instantly connected to the physical aspects of yoga and loved challenging herself with fun poses and handstands. In 2015, Sarah found a new connection to yoga that extended far beyond the asanas. She turned to yoga as a way to gain emotional strength from the passing of her parents. Sarah believes that by connecting with a local community and developing a practice she gained a new outlook on life and restored her well-being. Through movement and meditation, she found emotional balance, physical and mental strength, and positivity on and off the mat. Wanting to share her healing journey with others, she completed her 200-hr Hatha Yoga Certification from GypSEA Yoga School in Costa Rica. Since then, she has taught multiple styles of classes around the capital region and even owned a local studio pre-pandemic. As life ebbs and flows, she hopes to serve as a source of strength for others and to inspire people to live their yoga every day on and off the mat.

Mandee Guzzo has been practicing yoga, asana, and meditation since 2012. She began her practice in her early 20s as a way to navigate her anxiety. Cultivating a mind-body connection while practicing yoga transformed her. Eventually, she earned her 200hr YTT at Phoenix Rising School of Yoga Therapy. She offers a range of classes, including Adaptive, Chair, and Vinyasa. These classes are
taught with an inclusive and trauma-informed approach. Her goal is to help others understand and internalize this. She aims to create a safe yet challenging space where people can meet themselves, recognize their patterns and habits, and make the shifts they're ready to make. |
